Learn about Me:

    For those of you who do not already know me my name is Maddie Nickerson, I am a 19 year old from Highland, Illinois. I began my  cosmetology career at Kaskaskia College (Centralia) in there cosmetology program in January of 2015. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since December 12th, 2015. Before looking into beauty schools, and furthering my education I knew I had a passion for making people look and feel amazing. Since graduating I started working my first Stylist position at "Joseph Mathews Salon". It was an amazing first year there- meeting new clients, and working on perfecting my skills and technique. One year later I was offered a position at Tru Design Salon & Spa in Highland, IL where I currently work in a suite specializing in Custom Color Services, SHE Hair Extensions, and Balayage/Ombre technique. Each stylist at Tru Design has there own private room- Like there own miniature salon. This was an amazing opportunity for me to take on and I am loving every minute of connecting with other stylists, new and current clients, as well as furthering my education!
